BIBLE: entry in his bible reads "Benjamin L'H. husband, after 3 months of
sickness at home, and 2 months at Killingworth under Dr. Elliot, died in the
house of Lieut. Benjamin Merrill, Sept. 17, 1755 and was buried with y family of
the Rev. Mr. Jerod Eliot. He was in his 61st year." (Bible in possession of

in her father's Will of that date.
4. Martha, born 10 Jun 1732 "Sater Day about 3 o'Clock in the moring and
desessed In the ninth month of nov?"; Died 24 Feb 1732/3.
5. Ezra, born 30 Au 1734 "Fry Day about 12 of the Clock in the Day."
6. Benjamin, born in 1737 "in the yeare of our Lord, desessed 2 year & a half
old."; died 18 Nov 1739.
7. Mary, born 9 Apr 1740; married 29 Jul 1761, John Ingraham of New York, who
was born 30 Jun 1738 in Bristol, Rhode Island, and died 18 Aug 1822. He was
known as Captain Ingraham.
8 Martha (second named) born 10 Nov 1745 "Sabbath Day nit about 12 o'clock.";
died 19 Oct 1748.
